Under the supervision of mecha designer Kanetake Ebikawa, the focus is on the GN Drive, the most prominent feature of the Gundam Exia.
The mechanism through which GN particles, the Gundam's power source, are distributed throughout the body has been meticulously studied.
This resulted in a newly arranged design and internal frame structure, and also a newly designed LED unit and light-conducting materials that replicate the luminescent effects when GN particles accumulate and compress.
The third item in the "GUNPLA EVOLUTION PROJECT" for the PG series.
The EVOLUTION POINT is "LIGHT EMITTING".
The behavior of the GN particles is represented by three new elements under the "LUMINOUS ELEMENTS" concept, allowing for color changes in the light.

Armor and frame structure reflecting energy transmission
The internal frame, with cables exposed throughout the body, mirrors the GN particle transmission mechanism from the GN Drive.
The external armor has a hatch opening gimmick to further emphasize this feature.
Completely new LED unit with time-based color changes
The newly designed LED unit reproduces the color transitions of GN particles accumulating and compressing.
It shifts from the green of standby mode to the green-blue of active mode and finally turns red at critical state.
First-ever light-conducting material in Gunpla history
Soft silicone material, combined with highly light-conductive resin, allows for flexible movement without sacrificing the LED light effects.
This innovation ensures the glow spreads evenly across the body.

Exposed mechanical details and frame elements visible through gaps enhance the mechanical impression.
The full-body hatch opening gimmick allows a view of the internal details.
