The order came in quicker then was expected and with no damage
The color separation on the whole body is astoundingly accurate out of box, though if you feel you have to, you will have to add some color to the two back verniers and skirting for full accuracy.
All of the grey segmenting you see between the white plates/torso in the preview images are all molded plastic/skeletons that the pieces slot onto, and have a satisfyingly easy fit.
The only stickers on the body/primary gear are the lenses and a white stripe above the shield's view gap, the shield sticker of which I imagine can easily be brushed over with a white acrylic marker instead. However the worst comes with the strike pack where you have to double side the top wings with multi inch long stickers so be prepared to mess with that, or get your red acrylic marker ready.
Now onto the last most surprising part: this HG is actually able to stand upright ON IT'S OWN with the strike pack equipped, which all in all has been a major problem through most of the Seed HG line from my experience of delving into it.
I 100% recommend this kit even as a starter over the entry grade of the same model, or if you're looking for HG models that are practically perfect out of box.
The kit I ordered was well packaged and arrived quickly.
I will definitely order again .
Very happy with my putchase.
I was grateful to get one of the last copies of the book before it sold out. As a modeler in his 50's who is revisiting a 1/35 building hobby, I thought it important to get a primer on tools. This reference has completely exceeded any expectation I had: it is completely thorough, gives pictures of many tools, and is organized in such a way where I read about one tool in depth before every one of my sessions. Now I will need an additional part-time job to buy all the premium tools I now desire. A fantastic 'bible' of tools, their purposes, and benefits.
Super good service with a nice bonus message of thanks inside. I really appreciated it.
Showed up fairly fast, in cardboard boxing (for those that need to know if they ship in bubble wrap).
The build itself was great, the color separation was almost perfect, most of the color correction stickers are for the side panels of the circular joints on the arms and legs, the rest are trim corrections for the torso that would be better off being done by hand with a acrylic marker if you had the time to do so.
my only real complaint is that the toe of the feet are not actually held in by any joint or covering, they're held on by a double ended peg and the hopes and prayers that the friction keeps it on so I imagine it will eventually become a drop on the floor and vanish into a new dimension risk. Gluing them down isn't an option either since the toe bend is needed for the feet to sit and surf it's thrusters properly. That and the front skirting can still pop out from their place if they're fiddled with the wrong way.
Amazing places they took Amazing care of my order and got it to me quickly as possible
Will order again.
I was happy I was able to snag this kit from Shokunin Gunpla, along with two others. The 30ms kits are what they are: simple girpla. They are cute, customizable, and interchangeable... for the most part. Older ones can be hard to find sometimes, especially in Canada. SG came through. They arrive quickly and packaged well. Thanks!
