Product Details

• Volume: 40ml, unthinned
• Suggested thinning ratio: 1 part paint to 2 parts thinner
• Type: Medium-fine grit surfacer
• Use: Ideal for spot-checking surfaces after scribing, sanding, and other surface customization work
• Finish: Roughly equivalent to a #1200 sanded surface

This surfacer also works well as a pre-painting finishing layer, helping create a smoother base before applying colour coats.

To preserve the primer’s surface texture, only sand primed surfaces with sandpaper finer than #1200.

Notes

• For best results, avoid applying surfacer or primer in high-humidity environments.
• Lower grit surfacers create a rougher finish with stronger coverage, requiring fewer coats to hide the underlayer.
• Higher grit surfacers create a finer finish with lighter coverage, usually requiring more coats to fully hide the underlayer.
