This is a primer spray that improves paint adhesion not only on plastic parts, but also on metal and resin parts where regular model paints can be difficult to apply securely.

• By using newly developed materials, it offers improved usability compared to the previous metal primer, including a shorter drying time.

Product Details

• Type: Thinned surfacer in aerosol spray can
• Application: Shake well before use
• Spray distance: Hold the can approximately 20–25 cm from the part’s surface
• Finish: Roughly equivalent to a #1000 sanded surface

This aerosol surfacer comes pre-thinned and ready to spray, making it convenient for priming model kit parts before painting.

To preserve the primer’s surface texture, only sand primed surfaces with sandpaper finer than #1000.

Notes

• For best results, avoid applying surfacer or primer in high-humidity environments.
• Lower grit surfacers create a rougher finish with stronger coverage, requiring fewer coats to hide the underlayer.
• Higher grit surfacers create a finer finish with lighter coverage, usually requiring more coats to fully hide the underlayer.
