Product Details

• Volume: 40ml, unthinned
• Suggested thinning ratio: 1 part paint to 2–3 parts thinner
• Type: Pink base coat surfacer
• Use: Ideal as a primer base for bright red colours
• Finish: Roughly equivalent to a #1500 sanded surface

This pink base coat helps red paints appear brighter and more vibrant, making it especially useful for red armour parts, accent pieces, and other vivid colour applications.

To preserve the primer’s surface texture, only sand primed surfaces with sandpaper finer than #1500.

Notes

• For best results, avoid applying surfacer or primer in high-humidity environments.
• Lower grit surfacers create a rougher finish with stronger coverage, requiring fewer coats to hide the underlayer.
• Higher grit surfacers create a finer finish with lighter coverage, usually requiring more coats to fully hide the underlayer.
