Product Details

• Volume: 40ml, unthinned
• Suggested thinning ratio: 1 part paint to 2–3 parts thinner
• Type: White base coat surfacer
• Use: Ideal as a primer base for bright colours such as red and yellow
• Finish: Roughly equivalent to a #1000 sanded surface

This white surfacer is especially useful when you want bright colours to appear more vibrant after painting.

Compared with grey surfacer, white is less effective for spot-checking surface imperfections, as it provides weaker contrast.

To preserve the primer’s surface texture, only sand primed surfaces with sandpaper finer than #1000.

Notes

• For best results, avoid applying surfacer or primer in high-humidity environments.
• Lower grit surfacers create a rougher finish with stronger coverage, requiring fewer coats to hide the underlayer.
• Higher grit surfacers create a finer finish with lighter coverage, usually requiring more coats to fully hide the underlayer.
