First appearing in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, the RGM-96X Jesta Cannon is a heavy weapon variant of the RGM-96X Jesta (based on the RGM-89 Jegan) optimized for providing mid-range fire support.

Noticeable feature change includes the removal of the back-mounted Jesta Shield replaced by the Beam Cannon over the right shoulder and the Quadruple Multi Launcher over the left shoulder, and a total of 12 hand grenades equipped on both sides of the waists and the legs. The Londo Bell Flagship -Ra Cailum carries 12 RGM-96X Jestas in total and is supplied to convert 5 into the RGM-96X Jesta Cannon.
