The EXCELLON (Excellon) flat brush combines the drawing qualities of natural hair with durability against organic solvents.

• It integrates Japan's cutting-edge technology with traditional craftsmanship, blending two contrasting techniques for exceptional performance.

The synthetic hair, designed to mimic natural hairs like Kolinsky, was developed in collaboration with a fiber manufacturer.

By blending four different thicknesses of synthetic hair, each treated with cuticle processing, the following benefits were achieved:

• Excellent paint retention
• A balance of flexibility and appropriate firmness
• Durability against oil-based paints

Leveraging the properties of synthetic hair, a shape-memory function has also been added.

• Even if the bristles become uneven, simply soaking them in warm water will restore the tips to their original, aligned shape.

The brushes are manufactured in one of Japan's leading brush-making regions.

• Each brush is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans, with each step requiring traditional handcraft techniques, experience, and finely-tuned craftsmanship.
